Jill's story
03 Feb 2010
My name is Jill and I am now a cancer survivor. I would like to suggest more add campaigns with real life survivors, like myself, to raise awareness.
Although, cancer has many contributions, the carcinogens from smoking are a huge contributing factor to smoking.
I am a thirty-three year old mum with a husband and two great children. I almost lost my life three years ago to cancer.
I lost three-fourths of my tongue and life with never be the same. I will face challenges for the rest of my life. I cannot speak well and eating is difficult.
I wish I could tell the world to stop smoking! I love my second chance and wish I had never started smoking.
I only smoked half a pack a day for ten years, and would like to share that any amount can kill! I hope this helps another person quit!
