4.14.1 Description
A number of the submissions expressed an interest in being more involved with the delivery of the PCEHR System. These expressions of interest were typically raised in the context of other themes.4.14.2 Key points
- Some submissions noted their interest in being involved with the marketing, communication and stakeholder engagement to ensure that benefits are understood and to improve change and adoption processes
- Several submissions expressed an interest in being involved in future consultations
- A number of the submissions noted an interest in being involved in unit testing, interface testing and user acceptance testing
4.14.3 PCEHR program position
DoHA acknowledges the interest shown in a number of submissions in being involved in the delivery of the PCEHR System. Consultation will be ongoing, providing stakeholders with a mechanism to continue to be involved with the development of the PCEHR System.Where it is deemed appropriate, DoHA will also provide avenues for stakeholder involvement through the benefits realisation, change and adoption, and implementation work streams. It is expected that involvement with ICT vendors will involve ongoing engagement, collaboration and support with the National Change and Adoption Partner and National Infrastructure Partner. It is also expected that lead eHealth sites will be significantly involved through collaboration with developers. More information relating to this will be forthcoming following further consultation with these partners and the Benefits Realisation Partner.
